Koa Classic Package: Show Only

The Mauka Warriors Luau stands apart from every other luau on Oahu by shining a light on the warrior culture that shaped Polynesian history — a powerful, often overlooked chapter of these island civilizations. From the moment you arrive and receive your seashell lei greeting, you’ll be transported on a cultural journey spanning six island nations: Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, and the Cook Islands. The Koa Classic Show Only package places you in the rear seating section for an evening of extraordinary live performances, including traditional hula, island music, and the crowd-favorite fire-knife dance.

The show runs from 7:15 PM to approximately 8:45 PM, delivering nearly 90 minutes of non-stop cultural entertainment. Highlights include dramatic warrior battle re-enactments that bring Polynesian history to life, vibrant costuming, and powerful storytelling through dance and music. This locally owned and operated experience — led by members of the Polynesian community and the US military — ensures an authentic, community-rooted celebration that honors the true spirit of Polynesia.

The Koa Classic Package is the Show Only tier of the Mauka Warriors Luau, featuring rear-section (Koa) seating. Check-in opens at 7:00 PM, so plan to arrive promptly to settle in before the show begins at 7:15 PM. On-site parking is complimentary, or you may book round-trip shuttle transportation from multiple Waikiki hotel stops for $30 per person — simply enter your hotel location during the checkout process. Shuttle pickups begin at approximately 3:40 PM.

Before the show, guests with earlier-arrival packages can enjoy pre-show activities such as headband weaving, hand-drawn tattoos, hula lessons, Maori poi ball lessons, Kava tasting, coconut cracking, cooking demonstrations, and mini golf — though these are not included in the Show Only package. We recommend bringing a light jacket as evenings can be breezy, and make sure to have your photo ID ready at check-in. Online bookings must be completed by 4:00 PM Hawaii Time on the day you plan to attend, so don’t wait to reserve your spot!
