As an Ali’i Premium Package guest, you’ll be welcomed with a kukui nut lei and escorted to your reserved mid-section Ali’i seating, where you’ll enjoy an up-close view of the entire performance. The show takes you on a cultural journey through Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, and the Cook Islands, featuring live music, traditional and contemporary dance, and the electrifying fire-knife dance tradition.

The evening’s highlight is the dramatic portrayal of warrior history and live battle re-enactments — a powerful tribute to the strength and legacy of Polynesian peoples rarely seen at a luau. Locally owned and operated by members of the Polynesian community and the US military, every aspect of the show is crafted with deep cultural pride and authenticity. The approximate runtime is about 90 minutes, with check-in at 7:00 PM, the show beginning at 7:15 PM, and the evening wrapping up around 8:45 PM.

While this is a show-only package with a 7:00 PM check-in, guests arriving earlier for other package types may be participating in pre-show activities such as headband weaving, hand-drawn tattoos, hula lessons, Maori poi ball lessons, Kava tasting, coconut cracking, and cooking demonstrations — giving the grounds a vibrant, festive atmosphere from the moment you arrive. On-site parking is complimentary, and round-trip shuttle transportation from multiple Waikiki hotel stops is available for $30 per person, with pickups beginning around 3:40 PM.
