VIP Admission to the Aloha Wailea Luau covers the whole of the General Admission evening — the shell lei welcome, the open bar, the Maui-farm buffet and the full performance chronicling an epic Pacific sea voyage through hula, Tahitian dance and fire-knife — and then removes the three things that shape how a luau night actually feels: where you sit, how long you queue, and when you eat.
VIP guests check in on a priority line, are seated in the premium section nearest the stage, and go first to the dinner buffet rather than waiting for a table to be called. A kukui nut lei is presented in place of the shell lei. On a two-hour evening those differences compound: the fire-knife finale reads very differently from the front, and eating first means you are settled with a plate and a mai tai when the performance builds rather than still standing in line. The venue is on Kaukahi Street in Wailea, a short drive from most Wailea and Kihei accommodation, with the show starting at 5:30pm.
