Who we are
Jeff Gitlin, Founder
Jeff is a former Lahaina, Maui resident with more than 25 years in Hawaii as a show producer, cultural educator and tour operator. He has produced live shows across the islands, taught lei making and hula, led star tours and shared island legends through torch-lighting ceremonies. That time on the ground is why we can tell you which snorkeling spot is best for turtles this season, which luau is worth your evening and which volcano hike is worth the drive.
Craig Halye, Co-Founder
Craig is a marketing veteran with more than 35 years of experience. Together, Jeff and Craig built Hawaiian Activities to be the kind of booking company they would want to use themselves.

How booking works
- Every tour page shows the price, duration and details of the activity, with a live booking calendar from FareHarbor, the reservation system the tour operators use.
- Click Book Now and FareHarbor’s secure checkout opens on the page. Choose your date, time and number of guests, then pay there at the time of booking.
- You receive a confirmation by email with your booking details.
- On the day, the operator named on the listing runs your tour. Cancellation rules are set by each operator and shown on the activity page.
