WHAT THE SURFBOARD RENTAL INVOLVES
Hawaiian Island Creations hires out the 6’8″ Boss Up I-Bolic from their shop in Oahu. You collect the board, take it out on your own schedule, and return it at the end of the hire period. So the Seaside is about refining… less area in the tail, narrowing the tips of the swallow, creating more curve and narrowing the nose. Design the concaves and bottom contours around that. But most everyone surfs a shape like the Seaside at beach breaks and little point breaks, so we made it in Helium because it’s really light, very responsive, really flexy with a softer feel and very durable.
HOW IT RUNS
You meet at Hawaiian Island Creations, 348 Hahani St, Kailua, HI, 96734. Collection and return are at the shop counter, so build the round trip into your plan for the day. Staff will size the board to you and check the leash before you leave.
