We like to pride North Shore Ohana in providing the best service catering to larger groups that still get a personalized experience. Please mention anyone who might need special equipment for anyone 250 lbs or more, or life jackets. WHO IT IS FOR
Big groups: nine surfers is the minimum, and at $95 this is the lowest per-person price North Shore Ohana offer. It is built for the bookings that do not fit a standard lesson – wedding parties, reunions, company trips – and Ohana still run it as a personalised session rather than processing everyone through in a line. The minimum age is 5, lower than the 7 on their smaller private group lessons. Two things worth raising when you book: equipment for anyone 250 lbs or more, and life jackets, both of which need flagging in advance. A personal photographer can be added on request, shooting either in the water or from land. The standard duration is two hours, and groups of 17 or more can split three hours into two sessions of 90 minutes.
Consider instead: below nine people, the 6-8 private group lesson is $120 and the 3-5 is $115. If your group is happy to be mixed with other students, the open group lesson is $120 at a 3:1 ratio for ages 16 and up.
