WHAT THE PRIVATE ONE-ON-ONE STAND-UP PADDLE LESSON INVOLVES
Stand-up paddling sits somewhere between surfing and canoe paddling, and Waikiki’s calm, consistent water makes it one of the best places anywhere to pick it up. Waikiki Beach Services teach this one-to-one, at either beginner or advanced level.
HOW IT RUNS
You check in at the service counter at the Royal Hawaiian, 10 to 15 minutes before your time. Beginner lessons cover balancing, paddling and turning; advanced lessons, for people already steady on a board, move on to catching and surfing waves. The route takes you over reef, where turtles are a regular sight.
PRICING
$150 for the one-to-one lesson. Verified against FareHarbor, August 2026. Confirm current rates at booking.
