2 students per surf instructor is what makes us different from other surf schools around the island. Your lesson is unique to your level of surfing, even if no experience at all. We want you to have the most comfortable experience possible to make learning as smooth and as easy as possible. We are excited to work with you and give you the experience and knowledge you’ll need to become a Surfer!

WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who wants close attention without paying one-to-one rates. Island Fiel Surf cap every instructor at two students, which is the thing they single out as separating them from other schools on the island, and total group size tops out at six guests split across instructors. At 90 minutes the lesson is shorter than the two-hour standard, so it suits people fitting a lesson around other plans rather than building a morning around it. Instruction is pitched to your level, including complete beginners with no experience at all. Equipment is included. The meeting point is on Oahu and is confirmed when you book, so allow time to find it.
Consider instead: for a strict one-to-one, North Shore Ohana’s “Kapu” lesson is $225 and Go Nuts Hawaii’s is $239, both two hours on the North Shore.
