WHAT THE STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD INVOLVES
Participants will learn basic paddling strokes and the secrets to turning and balance. Wildlife encounters are common due to the high vantage point while standing on a board. Look for sea turtles and fish around the coral reef. Private/Private Group Tours: 8 years may participate with a parent or guardian present.
HOW IT RUNS
You meet at Kailua Beach Adventures – API, Kailua. All Participants must be able to swim. Guests can choose from pizza, calzones Hawaiian plate lunch or Salads. Our pizza and calzones are made to order in the Beach Center at Bob’s Pizzeria. Our plate lunches are made to order at K&K BBQ where guests will find inside and outside seating.

WHO IT IS FOR
Paddlers who want a guided tour with wildlife and a meal rather than just board hire. You are taught the basic strokes and the secrets of turning and balance first, then paddle Kailua’s protected water. Standing on a board gives a far higher vantage point than sitting in a kayak, and sea turtles and fish around the coral reef are commonly spotted because of it. Lunch is part of the booking and made to order: pizza or calzones from Bob’s Pizzeria in the Beach Center, or a Hawaiian plate lunch or salad from K&K BBQ, with indoor and outdoor seating. Every participant must be able to swim. On private and private group tours, children from age 8 can take part with a parent or guardian present. You meet at Kailua Beach Adventures in Kailua.
