WHAT THE PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE SUP LESSON INVOLVES
Maui Wave Riders run stand-up paddling as a closed lesson — either one-to-one, or with two to six people drawn from your own party. The distinction that matters is that you are never grouped with strangers, so the instructor’s attention stays on your group for the full 90 minutes.
HOW IT RUNS
The session opens with about fifteen minutes on the sand covering the basics of stand-up paddling and, importantly, water safety. The rest is spent on the water with your instructor alongside. Everything is supplied: soft-top board, long-sleeve rash guard, reef shoes and safety fins.
PRICING
Private lesson $150 · semi-private $105 per person for 2 to 6 from your own party. Verified against FareHarbor, August 2026. Confirm current rates at booking.
